Check out my new wheels!!

Molly & Joey "doctoring" Poppy

Breathe in, Poppy.

Drs. Joe & Molly giving Poppy some TLC.  Poppy can't smile on the outside - but he is on the inside!  He will be able to soon!!
My name is Dr. Joe.  I am here to fix your eyes.  Stay still.

Now I will fix your smile.  Sit still.

Now, your swallow.  Please, bear with me.

There's no place like home, there's no place like home.

Joey ate lunch in Poppy's lap.

Gigi and Three

Not sure what it is, but if we can fight over it, it's FABULOUS

Whose gift is it, anyway??

Mel, if you can take that paper off the package, you can give me a kiss.

JUST what the kids wanted....A ginormous picture of Pierce Coapstick from the office.  We love him!

Reluctant Melanie

Prince Joey

Two different scenarios going on here.  What's wrong with that kid on the right?!?!?!?

Random Brother-Sister Love

Feeding his sister a milkshake
One of Joey's teachers reported last week that he spent quite a bit of time that day on his head.  I wonder where he learned that?  This is a new favorite pasttime.

Who knew how much fun could be had in a diaper box??

Building a Snowman

Mel "built a snowman" with the fraction of an inch of snow we got last week.  She built it in Jeff's part of the driveway, so I do believe Frosty met an untimely demise.

"The playground where I had my birthday party"

That's her, up top.  yes, in a Chicago Bears shirt and striped pants

Mel woke up on Saturday morning asking to go to the "playground where she had her birthday party."  So, we headed off to the Trader's Point Church indoor playground.  Melanie immediately climbed to the top - something it usually takes her a while to warm up to.  She only suffered one meltdown, and that was when she mistakenly got in the tunnel that moves back and forth.  This is a mistake she has made before, but apparently forgot.  Joey wasn't quite as adventerous, but it was a fun way to spend a cold Saturday morning!

Face Time

Now that Grandma & Papa, and we, have an iPad, we have been enjoying "FaceTime" - which I'm sure is like Skype.  If I had ever Skyped before, I would be able to confirm this.  The kids can never just be normal and sit and talk to their grandparents.  These pictures depict the latest conversation....

"I'm the pink guy and you're the green guy"

I got Melanie and Molly these matching pajamas for Christmas.  Their attraction (for me) was multi-fold. First, they were at Once Upon a Child, hanging next to each other, in the exact same size.  Second, they said "BFF - Best Friends Forever."  Then the pants had those two little critters all over them.  Third, well, they were pajamas, and these two girls LOVE pajamas.  Well, they weren't as big of a hit as I thought they'd be (darn, I'm out the $8 that made ME feel the Christmas spirit!!)  3T jammies are a little tight at this point (since jammies fit tighter).  Lately, though, Mel has been getting them out, putting them on, and telling ME, her Mommy, that I am her best friend, and that I'm (Mommy) the green guy and she (Mel) is the pink guy.  I'll take it!!

Ringing in 2012

This might be the first time I got a decent picture of all four Worzala grandkids together; so I had to post them ALL (Grandma, you choose which one you like best).

We had a fun evening on the "eastside" hanging out with Randy/Cory/Charlie/Sammie, as well as some of their neighbors, and the special guests Scotty, Lori & Hailey!  Cory of course cooked enough to feed an army, and we had a great time ringing in the new year!

We look forward to a fun year of all of the kids playing together (and wine and cigars for the parents AND...coming soon... the Grandparents!)  Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!!

We rang in 2012 at 8pm on December 31, 2011.  The kids loved it SO much, that we did it approximately 84 more times.  We had a fun night celebrating with our neighbor friends the Zirklebachs (daughter Grace) and Vanderburs (daughter Ellie).  Joey had a blast trying to keep up with all three girls.

Highlights included the girls locking themselves into Melanie's room (kudos to Brian for talking them through how to unlock - our doorknobs might be something we need to address!),  Amanda bringing her entire kitchen to feed our family, and a fun night of silly giggles.  All of our families had struggles in 2011, but we know that with our friendship, and prayers, we will have an even better 2012!!

Happy New Year!!

Harry's!

It was a fun surprise to be able to meet up with Gretchen & Corey the "day of" New Year's Eve.  They had come to campus for the Purdue-Illinois game, and we met up with them for lunch.  While we wished we could have hung out longer, it was so nice to spend some time with my college roomie!!

Boiler Up!
