Saturday morning, chilly as it was, we decided to head to the State Fair. Jeff's parents were in town, but otherwise engaged, so we headed down, tried out some deep fried pizza and chocolate-covered bacon, and enjoyed an otherwise-empty fairground! Melanie wasn't tall enough to ride anything, including the carousel, but she did enjoy the puppy show and the deep-fried pizza.
