Joey's first tooth popped through this weekend! You can see it (if you look very closely!) in the picture of him by himself above. He doesn't really like his baby food (still loves formula), but we continue to try different options. On Sunday, I gave him a couple of small pieces of bread. He seemed to like it, but couldn't really work out the swallowing part, so most ended up back on his bib. Practice makes perfect. He's crawling on his knees about 50% of the time now, and still pulling up at every chance he gets.
So far, here is a synopsis of Christmas at the Worzala house, where no decorations are up: Melanie had a complete meltdown while viewing the email video that Santa sent to her (http://www.portablenorthpole.tv/watch/wOCHsT-8LVa6N9ni-rJ4tg); she rebelled against the "Elf on the Shelf" after he sat in our living room for about three days. Murray has now, according to Melanie, gone to live at Jakie-Bake's house for the winter. (J-B is her buddy at school). We generally have to reassure her about 4 times a day that Murray has left. Melanie will watch some Christmas specials (Charlie Brown Christmas is one), but not others (will not watch Rudolph, or anything with elves or Santa). We've decided to not even attempt to get her picture taken with Santa. 'Tis the Season :)
Just some random updates from our neck of the woods...And, the above photo shoot of course took place AFTER our Christmas cards were in the mail!
