Today Shirley, Suzi & Alli threw a baby shower for Julie & Baby Miller, and both came out with some goodies! Melanie cannot wait to meet her new cousin, and we're looking forward to lots of fun times! Mel hasn't been around a ton of kids, at least her own age, for long periods of time. She has met a lot of friends (aka, my friends' kids), but now that she's in daycare and starting to be more cognizant of them, it's fun. Today, she was playing on the floor with her cousin Lily, who is 2 months older than her; it was amazing to see the changes a baby can have in just two months! Mel & Lily were holding hands, and at one point, Lily had her finger in Mel's mouth, and Mel was sucking on it. I would still say Melanie was a bit oblivious to it, but it was funny nonetheless. It was great to see you and Miss Mel! She has changed tons since the last time we saw her! It was so fun to have all the girls around! ohhh how busy Grandma M's house will soon be!
