Big Sister!

We are so thrilled to be planning for Melanie's little brother or sister, due on May 3, 2010!

I got a touch of the flu on Thursday, August 27, and on Friday decided on a whim to take a pregnancy test. Five tests later, I was lying on the doctor's table on Monday morning watching our new baby move around the ultrasound screen! Of course, Melanie doesn't know what's going on, but the first time she saw the U/S photo, she pointed at it and said "Baby!" and she has kissed my belly after we explained there was a baby in it. However, those are flukes, she could've just as easily said "Puppy!" (her favorite word after Gigi & Poppy) - so it will take the baby's arrival for full comprehension.

As with Melanie's pregnancy, I have not been sick at all (except for that stomach thing that I still think was the flu in late August), and I'm 11 weeks today. So we're praying for another healthy, happy, crazy child to bless our lives in 2010!
