On Saturday 8/7 we celebrated Charlie's FOURTH birthday and Sammie's SECOND birthday! I still remember, like it was yesterday, August 11, 2006. Well, I remember August 10 just as well. Cory got admitted to the hospital on 8/10/06, and we hurriedly headed to the city from our new suburban house....anxious to meet our very first nephew! We were there by 5pm.... And Charlie was born..... the next morning! He had quite a contingency waiting for his arrival, with a dozen family members sleeping all over the hospital floors. We were SO thrilled with his arrival, and have been blessed with Sammie's addition two years later. Sammie & Melanie are just short of five months' difference - so there is all kinds of trouble those two will be up to in years to come.
