Melanie is continuing her all-encompassing love of her little brother. All she wants to do is love him, but she doesn't realize how much bigger she is than him. For now, at least. So she ends up in a lot of time-outs just for loving him too much. It's exhausting for everyone. From the minute she wakes up, until the minute she goes to bed, she's constantly asking about Joey, wanting to hold, kiss, or play with Joey....which is all awesome. Until she gives Joey mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, jumps on his head, or tears one of his limbs off. For his part, Joe just looks at Mel with a bemused expression on his face, trying to figure out where this species came from, and how he can conquer it. He has the next 18 years to figure that one out, and we can use all the help we can get. I still can't believe how blessed we are to have these two miracle babies in our lives.
